By integrating IoT and sensor technologies, traditional fall-protection safety harnesses are upgraded from passive gear to smart equipment that can detect buckling/unbuckling, verify “high anchor–low user” versus unsafe “low anchor–high user”configurations, trigger sound–light alarms, and provide network connectivity and positioning. This enhances individual protection while refining on-site management, making it more efficient and intelligent.
