The smart fire-monitoring system for vessels under construction uses a wireless ad-hoc network to deploy smoke detectors, manual call points, heat detectors and sound–light alarms. Fire-pre-alarm events are pushed to multiple terminals through pop-ups, SMS and phone calls.
