The KT556 mine-used wireless through-the-earth communication system is a new mine emergency communication system. It has passed coal-safety (MA) certification and finished underground trials for coal mine rescue. Its special low-frequency electromagnetic signals penetrate several kilometers of rock strata, enabling two-way wireless communication between surface and underground coal mines at depths up to 1000 m for timely contact between underground personnel and the surface in emergencies.
