Shenzhen MagicCubeSat Technology Co., Ltd. was founded on June 8, 2018, with its headquarters located in Shenzhen. It is a leading manufacturer of small satellites and core on-board units as well as a provider of satellite remote sensing application services in China. In 2024, the company was successfully selected into the sixth batch of national "Little Giant" enterprises specializing in sophisticated, specialized, characteristic and innovative fields.​ The company was founded by Ding Qiangqiang, who once worked at the China Academy of Space Technology, and he currently serves as the CEO. With the mission of "creating satellites accessible to everyone", the company focuses on the development of high-quality and cost-effective small satellites and remote sensing constellation services. At present, it has built an internationally advanced automated production line for core satellite components in Chongqing, forming the core advantage of "component development + mass production". In the six years since its establishment, the company has developed and launched a total of 24 operational satellites, among which 22 meteorological remote sensing satellites were launched in batches within one year.​ Its self-developed on-board unit products have been supporting more than 40 satellites, with 27 sets of solar cell arrays in orbit. The independent data application system serves fields such as ecological environment monitoring and settlement safety monitoring. The company has completed a total of 5 rounds of financing, with investors including well-known institutions such as Qianhai Mother Fund, Shenzhen High-Tech Investment Group, and Galaxy Space. In April 2025, it received equity investment from Zhongshang Huitou Investment, further consolidating its leading position in the commercial aerospace segment.​
